 Sharrie Williams SHINES through her storytelling of the fabulous and terrible times of being in the Maybelline family. As the great-niece of Tom Lyle Williams, founder of the Maybelline Company, she holds the truths.

What began as a kitchen fire in 1915, turned into combining petroleum jelly with coal dust, to help Tom’s sister Mabel fill in her lashes and eyebrows that burned away. And an empire was born.

Sharrie starts this episode with the terrible and controversial tale of her grandmother, Evelyn’s (Miss Maybelline’s) tragic death. Sharrie continues to take us on a journey of the pressures to always perform and be “perfect”, stay hush about family secrets, life changing events, and finding herself finally in her seventies.
